Crafts Degree Show
A new exhibition of contemporary craftwork ranging from jewellery to functional items and sculptural wares, is coming to the Gatehouse Gallery at the Museum of Lincolnshire Life. “Diversity” consists of work by local practitioners in 6 specialist disciplines – ceramics, glass, metal, stone, wood and fibres (felt and paper), and is part of their final year studies on BA (Hons) Contemporary Decorative Crafts course at the University of Lincoln.
“Diversity” is a self funded and initiated exhibition that offers something to anyone who has an interest in contemporary crafts. The exhibition shows innovative ways of applied contemporary design in the form of quality handmade pieces.
