Goodbye “bargain demon”

I have always had a thing for buying things on the cheap.  They usually turn out to be inferior, or things that I didn’t actually want.  I have a pile of cheap speakers.  That I have never used.  That makes them expensive speakers/ornaments.

Bargain Demon is a good way of describing this insecurity fuelled scrimping.  Well, no more.  If I want something, I now purchase it without trying to get that last fiver off.  I still look for a good deal and make sure I am not being fleeced, but you get what you pay for, so I now pay for what I actually want.

Whether it be clothes, gadgets or the impending purchase of something like a Lexus, I will pay for what I really want, rather than getting something I don’t want for cheap 🙂
