MFPlat.dll error starting Reason 10 on Windows 10 Home N edition

When I first installed Propellerheads Reason 10 on Windows 10 Home N edition it failed on startup with errors about MFPlat.dll and MFReadWrite.dll being missing. This happened after a recent Windows 10 update as well.

This is down to Windows 10 Home N edition not having media player etc included. There are various downloads available from Microsoft to add these features back in, and in typical Microsoft style there are multiple downloads that appear to do the same thing. The one that fixed it for me was:

Uninstalling Reason and the Authorizer, installing the Media Feature Pack, restarting the PC and then reinstalling Reason etc sorted things out.
