Local Apache, SQL and PHP systems

I must confess, I don’t really understand SQL, PHP etc but I do program CSS layouts for sites that use these technologies. Therefore, I needed a way of running these locally. Apparently, i’m not the only one, as there are many of these packages. They are called LAMP – Linux Apache MySQL and PHP on linux and WAMP on Windows.

To cut a long story short, I ended up with easyPHP, because it installed first time with no grief, and makes sense to me 😉

I can now test out local sites, and make osCommerce/Zencart templates to my heart’s content…
