Eco living starts here….

I plan on building a sustainable house at some point, but there are also 101 things I can do right now to reduce my effects on the world.

Found http://lighterfootstep.com/index.php today, that has an article on “10 first steps”. We already have a council recycling bin (that is too small for five of us, cue midnight missions to fill other people’s bins up…) for paper and plastic, and another box for glass that we have to dispose of ourselves. Having recycling bins in the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom has resulted in a huge amount of material being recycled instead of thrown away.

I think eco bulbs are next, along with turning the heating down a few notches and a low flow shower head :y:
