Ban SUVs
Unless you live in the snow, desert, or on a farm, you don't need a two ton tank. Urban 4x4s and SUVs like Range Rovers accelerate climate change, are a danger to cyclists & pedestrians and increase traffic congestion, as well as being conspicuous consumption. They destroy roads and car parks and shed staggering amounts of microplastics from their huge tyres. Electric SUVs are just as bad.
This site collects together all the evidence that at least urban SUVs should be banned to benefit the global environment, local environement, pedestrians, cyclists and other road users.
